The Mississippi EdPool is an investment pool sponsored by the Mississippi Association of School Business Officials (MASBO), the Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA), and the Mississippi Association of School Superintendents (MASS). The pool allows school districts to collectively invest surplus funds in statutorily allowed investments. EdPool funds are also allowed to be invested in financial instruments beyond those available to individual school districts.
EdPool is managed by Trustmark Wealth Management.
EdPool earning rates can also be compared to rates offered by local financial institutions to ensure a school district is receiving the best rate possible.
